Josche Muth Acting Secretary General bei European Renewable Energy Council

JOSCHE MUTH joined the EREC Policy Team as Policy Adviser in June 2009, becoming its Deputy Secretary General in January 2011. Since July 2012 he is Acting Secretary General of EREC. His policy responsibilities include working on the EU´s Energy Strategy 2020 as well as issues related to support schemes for renewable energy. Moreover, he is concerned with future energy policies and was responsible for ERECs 2030 and 2050 reports.
Before joining EREC, Josche worked as Energy Policy Adviser to MEP Mechtild Rothe, former Vice-President of the European Parliament. In his function, he was closely involved in the legislative process concerning energy efficiency and renewable energy, in particular the 2009 renewable energy directive.
