Andy served 20 years in the RAF, the last 15 of which were as a Fighter Control Officer. He joined the UK CAA in 1993 becoming the Head of Surveillance and Spectrum Management where he additionally held responsibility for Wind Turbine and Aviation issues. In addition to supporting RenewableUK, Andy provides support to the UK Offshore Wind Industry Council Aviation workstream, Andy was a member of the Performance Review Body for the Single European Sky for 4 years until May 2021 where he focused primarily on Civil-Military aspects and the Environment.
